Citizen Vigilante perhaps wants to be Michael Winner’s Death Wish or Don Siegel’s Dirty Harry or even Scorsese’s Taxi Driver. But these were films with, variously, measures of passion, style, wit, purpose, vision and competent production values.

CITIZEN VIGILANTE is built around an uncomfortable, dramatic question: what happens when the distance between law and perceived justice becomes so great that someone decides to fill that void himself? Legality and justice are not presented as synonyms.

Such a bad movie, half of the movie is just bad music and repeated shots of police walking, cars driving on roads. The timeline doesn't make sense. The movie lacked story building. Its just rubbish. Feels like some some anti immigrant teenagers decided to make a movie. Nothing but cheap racist propaganda.

Of course, this isn't a "good" movie in the traditional sense—no question about it. BUT: it strikes a chord and reflects the outlook on life and the sense of powerlessness felt by many (and the number is growing) "traditional" people living in Western Europe—foreign infiltration, an increasingly powerful and aggressive Islam, all framed by an economic decline caused by an elitist clique of woke and naive politicians. Seen this way, "Citizen Vigilante" is essentially a big middle finger to the woke avant-garde, which is sacrificing Europe’s former strength on the altar of (supposed) cosmopolitanism and tolerance.

It's not a bad idea—he addresses the problems in Europe very directly. However, the execution leaves a lot to be desired, which is probably due to budget constraints.
